Informal Recruitment

Panhellenic Informal Recruitment is an opportunity for our members to meet and get to know potential new members outside the time frame of Formal Recruitment. These events are put on by the chapter alone and could be held at the house or at another venue. These events do allow the chapter to extend membership to potential members through a Continuous Open Bidding (COB) process. They could be held throughout the year, however Freshmen students can only attend these events in the Spring semester after Formal Recruitment has ended.

To participate in COB Recruitment you must have passed and completed at least 12 college credit hours at SMU or previous college/university if transferring.
